Annual Hadley Halloween Party!!!!

So my family has been having a Halloween Party for about 10 years now. It is so much fun and we all look forward to it. We always have homemade soup, breadsticks, and my mom always makes her famous doughnuts, and carameled apples. The kids play games, dance, have a costume parade, and of course, we always vote who has the best costume for that year. (my brother Trent is a freak for Halloween and he usually wins!)Mike doesn't like to dress up much, so I tried to think of something we could be without him dressing up to much. What do you think? Deal or No Deal?
Hailee is a devil, Paige a cheerleader, and Raegan a bride.

Landon and Heather hosted the party this year and we all had a blast!! I feel go grateful to have such a fun family. When we all get together there is about 40 people. I love that my kids have so many cousins to play with and that we all still live close enough that we get together atleast once a month.

Headin' down to "Cougar Town"

So as most of you know, we are HUGE BYU fans. We have had season tickets for a few years now and we love going down to all of the games.

Mike and the girls posing in front of the
"Cougar."

Me and the girls watching the players going into the stadium. The players are so much bigger close up.
Hailee has been to a few games this year, but this was Paige's first game this season. She loved when we would score, so she could do the "rah, rah, rah, goooooooo cougars!"

It was a perfect game day, the weather was great and although the game was kind of close, we won !!! Maybe next time Raegan will want to come. GO COUGARS!

I was Photo Tagged!!

Post the 4th picture in your 4th folder on your computer and describe it.
This is a picture of Mike with 3 friends from his 20 year high school reunion. It was held in July at the Eccles Center. Don't they look so old? I can say that because I am two years younger. Which only means mine will be in 2 years!!! Yikes. It was really fun to see everyone and fun catching up with some of Mike's friends.

I'm not going to tag anyone because I really don't have that many "blogger" friends. :(

Happy 14th Birthday Hailee!!!

I can't believe it's been 14 years since I had my first child. It does not seem that long ago. Hailee has been the sweetest thing ever since she was little. When she was three years old, she was diagnosed with JRA (juvenile rheumatoid arthritis). She is such a trooper, she never complained about pain and still doesn't to this day. Her doctors have told me how painful it is, yet she always is positive and has a smile at all times!! Her medication was a shot that I had to give her twice a week. I cried more than she did when I first started giving them to her. She is so brave and has been through so much already in the last 14 years. About three years ago, she was diagnosed with "cerebellar degenerative disease." The back part of her brain is deteriorating or "atrophy" which causes her to have a tremor and be "off balance." Because of these diseases she hasn't been able to do some of the normal things other kids do (dance, tumbling, soccer, etc.), but she is always just on the side lines cheering everyone else on. Whether it be her friends or sisters, she is the one telling them how great they did. She is such a great example to me and her younger sisters. I have learned so much from Hailee and I strive to be more like her everyday. She is such a bright spot in our home. She loves BYU football and knows more about the players than most boys her age. She loves to golf and won "junior golfer" this year at the Ogden Country Club. She has many great friends, and is in 8th grade at O'Rion Jr. High. I could go on and on how wonderful she is and what a great daughter she is. I am so lucky to be her mom and we are all lucky to have her in our family. We love you "Hay Bug" have a Happy Birthday!!!
